Paw Prints Rescue and Rehoming
Paw Prints Rescue and Rehoming is a dedicated dog rescue based in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. We are committed to giving abandoned, neglected and unwanted dogs a safe place to heal, rebuild their confidence and find loving forever homes.
Our focus is on rescue, rehabilitation and responsible rehoming. Every dog in our care receives proper nutrition, veterinary treatment, daily care and the emotional support they need to thrive. We work hard to match each dog with the right family, ensuring that every adoption is a lifelong commitment.
In addition to rescue work, we offer:
Mutt Motel Boarding Kennels – A safe, caring home away from home for dogs whose families need trusted boarding. Our wooden cabins each have private gardens, daily walks and 24-hour care from staff on site.
Regular Markets and Community Events – We host vibrant markets and themed events throughout the year, bringing together animal lovers, local vendors and the wider community to raise funds and awareness.
Thrift Shop – Our on-site thrift shop is filled with affordable treasures for pets and their people. From pet goodies to household finds, every purchase helps support the dogs in our care.
At Paw Prints, every dog matters. Our mission is simple: rescue, restore and rehome — while building a compassionate community around animal welfare.
Volunteers and Community Service
We welcome volunteers and community service with open arms.
Paw Prints runs on heart, dedication and the support of people who want to make a real difference in the lives of rescue dogs. Whether you are looking to give back, complete community service hours or simply spend time making tails wag, there is a place for you here.
Volunteers can assist with walking and socialising dogs, helping with feeding and cleaning, supporting events and markets, and contributing their time and skills in meaningful ways.
Every extra pair of hands makes a difference. Together, we can give more dogs the second chance they deserve.
