The 2024 Shongweni Motor Show took place this year at a brand new venue in the 1000 Hills! If you missed it this year, you missed out!
The Motor Show is not a new event and was recognised from 2011 to 2017 as the largest open-air Truck, Car, Bike, Agric and Outdoor event in KwaZulu-Natal. It is supported by the Transport and Motor Trade, and segments in Truck, Car, Agricultural, Motorcycle, Caravan, Boating and General Supplier categories. This year saw the Expo move to a new location.
It is set in the beautiful tranquil hills of the 1000 Hills, in an open-air farm-type setting at View Top Farm. The venue lends itself towards an open-air country style event, much enjoyed by all the exhibitors who attended over the years. It is easily accessible off and onto the N13 in both North and South bound directions.
The 2024 expo included:

- Car and motorcyle exhibits and test drives off-site,
- Outdoor and camping exhibits,
- Helicopter rides,
- Extreme 4×4 rides,
- Paint ball,
- Golf driving range competitions,
- Mashie golf course,
- Model aircraft display,
- Kiddies fun arena,
- Music and entertainment,
- Friday night customer evening.
