Overview
Nestled in the scenic Valley of 1000 Hills, The 1000 Hills Brewery forms part of the acclaimed 1000 Hills Chef School, where Advanced Students learn the art of craft beer brewing. The Brewery creatively crafts its brews with food and flavour in mind, experimenting with different styles and flavour combinations.
The Brewery is open to the public on the weekends, along with the school’s on-site Deli which offers a delicious artisanal menu. Visitors can book free tours of the brewery between Friday to Sunday, where the secret of the brewing process is revealed. Complimentary tastings are included in the tour, and also available at The Deli if you’re finding it hard to decide which brew is the one for you. Currently, there are five standard flavours on offer – The Cheerleader, The Graduate, The Dean, The Quarterback and The FES, all of which are available at The Deli and selected stockists.
If you’re feeling rebellious, order The Rebel, a mystery brew exclusive to The Deli. This limited edition flavour is ever-changing – it can be anything from a blonde ale to a pilsner or milk stout – well worth a try.
